  • Client Data: Data belonging to your company (and its users) that we access, store, or process on your behalf while providing Managed Services (MSP/MSSP).

Part I: Handling of Your Personal Data

This part applies to the information we collect from all users for our own purposes.

1. Personal Data We Collect

  • Contact and Account Information: Name, email, phone number, address, and payment information when you create an account or make a purchase.
  • Usage and Device Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and pages viewed when you interact with our website and services.

2. How We Use Your Personal Data

  • To Provide Services: To process transactions, manage your account, and provide customer support.
  • For Marketing: To send you promotional materials and updates, which you can opt out of at any time.

Part II: Handling of Your Company's Data (Client Data)

This part applies specifically to clients who have contracted our Managed Services (MSP/MSSP) via a Master Service Agreement.

5. Our Role as a Data Processor

When providing Managed Services, TRUSTNET acts as a "Data Processor" on behalf of your company, which is the "Data Controller." This means we handle your data based on your instructions and the terms of our agreement.

6. Use of Client Data

We will only access and process Client Data for the sole and exclusive purpose of:

  • Delivering the contracted services (e.g., technical support, monitoring, backups).
  • Preventing or addressing technical or security issues.
  • Complying with the Client's documented instructions.

We will never use Client Data for our own purposes, such as marketing or product development.

7. Security Measures for Client Data

We implement technical and organizational security measures to protect Client Data, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls based on the principle of least privilege, and regular security assessments.

8. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a security breach affecting Client Data, we will notify the affected clients without undue delay, providing details of the incident and the steps we are taking to mitigate it.

9. Deletion of Client Data Upon Termination

Upon termination of a Service Agreement, we will securely delete or return all Client Data in our possession within a period of 60 days, unless its retention is required by law, as detailed in Part III.

Part III: General Terms

10. Data Retention for Legal and Financial Purposes

Notwithstanding any other provision in this policy, we will retain certain information (including Personal Data and Client Data) for extended periods if required to comply with our legal, tax, or regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, or to enforce our agreements. For example, billing and financial transaction records will be kept for the period stipulated by applicable tax laws.

11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed on servers located outside of your country of residence. We take necessary measures to ensure such transfers comply with applicable law.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website. For material changes affecting the processing of Client Data, we will provide direct notification to our Contracted Clients.
